Denis Glover
Contains newspaper clippings regarding Denis Glover and his poetry, correspondence between LC and Gordon Ogilvie regarding Glover, a transcript of an interview of LC and Mary Cleveland by Gordon Ogilvie about Denis Glover. Also includes three issues of 'The Quaffers' Gazette'; No. 1, April 1962, No. 3, 1962, No. 4, 1962. These are accompanied by a handwritten note that says that Denis Glover edited the issues. The date range of the collection is c. 1962-1998.
Garland, Margaret - poems
Manila folder containing 8 typed leaves of poems: 9 poems in all, two of which have handwritten correcttions. The inscription on the cover - 'Eigentum von Maria' - suggests it may have come from Maria Dronke, who was an associate of Peggy Garland during her time in Wellington.
Iron Hand Poems
A collection of correspondence, newspaper clippings, handwritten notes, printed articles and a copy of 'The Iron Hand', a book of poetry compiled by LC. The poems themselves are to do with the war experience and that theme of remembrance and recollection is found throughout the other documents. The correspondence also includes information on the process of getting 'The Iron Hand' published. The publication and subject matter date range is c. 1941-1987.
Landfall
Contains an essay by LC titled 'Twenty Years After', an entry for the Landfall essay competition with the topic of poetry. Also includes some correspondence with Landfall regarding the competition and a newspaper clipping of a Landfall call for papers c. 35 years after LC's 'Twenty Years After' entry (1999). The date range of the collection is 1955-1999.

New House
A series of correspondence between LC and Graham McEwan of New House Publishers about the use of LC’s poem ‘Silent Generations’ in a play by Diane Bardsley. LC also uses the correspondence to propose his novel ‘A Secret Life’, which McEwan dismisses on the basis that New House Publishers exclusively caters to a secondary school market. The correspondence occurred between July 2996 and March 1998.

Performances
A collection of correspondence, flyers, posters for theatre and poetry readings, show bills, programmes, newspaper clippings of theatre reviews and musical performances. The correspondence is in regard to New Zealand Broadcasting, including LC's contributions to any radio programmes. Also includes some photocopies of the 'NZ Bulletin' from 1912. The date range of the collection is c. 1912 - 2007.
Richard Clemens
A series of handwritten and typed poetry either by or collected by Richard ‘Dick’ Clemens, and a letter of correspondence from his daughter Anne Nithe. The poems reflect New Zealand back country culture, love, drinking and revelry. Also includes some racy greeting cards. The correspondence with Anne Nithe gives the only referable date of the collection as November 8, 1976. She also gives Clemens’ lifespan, 1885-1960.
The Lives of the Poets
Contains a series of correspondence between LC and Denis Glover, Ian McCrone. Also contains the lyrics to a song titled 'Putting on the Style' by Brian Bell, handwritten notes, a newspaper article about Allen Curnow and a transcription of an interview with Les Cleveland regarding Denis Glover [see 'Denis Glover' folder for another copy]. The date range of the collection is c. 1959-2004.
