Transcripts of 5 reviews of Somerset's book (with Millicent V.Kennedy) 'Bringing up crippled children' and 2 booklets. One of the booklets is about Dame Agnes Hunt (1867-1948) who was a founder of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and the Derwen Cripples' Training College in the UK.

A collection of correspondence, newspaper clippings and typed script. The correspondence is predominantly concerned with LC and his work, whether it is an original of his or his reviews. Also included are a few miscellaneous newspaper articles and corrections, many from ‘N.Z. Truth’. The date range of the documents is 1955-2007. The subject matter includes dates from c. 1915 onwards.
Dominion Book Reviews
Contains a note to book reviewers from the Dominion Post, on which there is a handwritten message from the signee, Bernard Carpinter proposing that LC review two similar books in one review. The letter is undated.

A collection of correspondence and reviews. The correspondence is primarily to do enlisting LC to review new publications from NZ Books, often includes handwritten notes from Harry Ricketts, praising LC’s reviews. Also includes one of LC’s reviews of ‘Scars on the Heart: Two Centuries of New Zealand at War’ and a contract for guest lecturing at Victoria University. The date range is 1995-2009.
