A collection of manuscripts under the titles of ‘Bread and Honey’, ‘Starch and Curlpapers’, ‘Lili Marlene’, ‘Gaby’s Foot’ and ‘Forty Years on (Sidelights on a Greatness)’. The pieces of writing document the general scenes of war (WWII) as well as daily interaction with civilians and with one another. The subject matter appears to be confined to the Italian campaign (WWII), however the only definitive date given is 1945. The date of transcription is unknown.

Photo date range is c. 1914-1970, many remain unspecified.
