A collection of scripts, handwritten notes, sequence drafts, filming schedules, newspaper clippings, printed articles and chronologies. The content is entirely related to the proposed documentary series ‘Not so Long Ago’. The series appears to have covered an array of topics such as disasters, resources, events, landmarks, housing, hobbies, technology and transport. The date range of publication and documentation is c. 1953-1980. The subject matter includes dates as far back as c. 1840.

Contains handwritten plans for the sequencing, themes and contacts of proposed television show, ‘Goodness Gracious’. Television one branding on the sheets suggest a creation date between 1975 and 1980.

Not So Long Ago Scripts
A collection of scripts, handwritten note, correspondence and poetry. Each script is for a different episode of Not So Long Ago, under the titles of ‘Bees in Our Bonnets’, ‘Remember When’, ‘Living off the Land’ and ‘National Dreams’. ‘Living off the Land’ has been dated from November 13, 1979. A letter of congratulations for the programme is dated from 8/4/1980. The subject matter includes dates as far back as 1907.

A collection of correspondence, flyers, posters for theatre and poetry readings, show bills, programmes, newspaper clippings of theatre reviews and musical performances. The correspondence is in regard to New Zealand Broadcasting, including LC's contributions to any radio programmes. Also includes some photocopies of the 'NZ Bulletin' from 1912. The date range of the collection is c. 1912 - 2007.
