This collection was deposited on her retirement by Gillian Ruthven, former Librarian of the John Bradley Library in the School of Geography and Earth Sciences. It consists of material from her office, mostly photographs, including many ID shots used for departmental photo-boards. There are some drawings, clippings and scrapbooks included.

Scope and Contents Contains the ‘Inferno’ manuscript collection of Robert Winslow Gordon, a series of songs from the early half of the 20th century, along with his correspondence with the donors. The songs often speak about WWI experiences, as well as various tales of the U.S. lifestyle. Also included is a small photographic print of an unknown soldier.
