The correspondence occurred between December 13, 1995 and October 16, 1996. All other documents are dated between 1994 and 1996.

The poems reflect New Zealand back country culture, love, drinking and revelry. Also includes some racy greeting cards. The correspondence with Anne Nithe gives the only referable date of the collection as November 8, 1976. She also gives Clemens’ lifespan, 1885-1960.
