This box contains material collected from PC's desk and some from flat file drawers.
The desk material is a mixture of personal and professional items and includes correspondence, articles, notes, photographs, PowerPoint printouts and personal CDs.
The file drawers contain a range of notes related to student research and projects PC was involved in.

American Culture Association
A collection of correspondence and handwritten notes. The correspondence is to do with staffing changes within the American Culture Association and the Popular Culture Association and what it means for contributors of the Journal and members of the association. The date range is 2002-2003.

Author's Appraisal - Muriel Shepherd
Contains a Memorandum of Agreement for LC’s ‘New Zealand Songbook’, of which is signed by LC. Also included is a series of correspondence between LC and Muriel Shepherd regarding her husband Mick’s war experience, his inclusion in an unspecified publication by LC and his recent passing. The date range of the documents is 1987-1994. The subject matter includes dates from 1918 onwards.
Bawdy Songs Article (Octopus Group)
A series of correspondence between LC and Andrew R. T. Campbell of Octopus Publishing Group Ltd. regarding Campbell’s publication of ‘Bawdy New Zealand Songs’. The topic, Campbell highlights, is one that LC broaches in ‘Songs We Sang’ and he therefore asks LC to contribute some of the songs as well as a chapter of writing about them. The correspondence occurred when LC was at the Smithsonian Institute in California. The date range is November 1987 – August 1988.

Denis Glover
Contains newspaper clippings regarding Denis Glover and his poetry, correspondence between LC and Gordon Ogilvie regarding Glover, a transcript of an interview of LC and Mary Cleveland by Gordon Ogilvie about Denis Glover. Also includes three issues of 'The Quaffers' Gazette'; No. 1, April 1962, No. 3, 1962, No. 4, 1962. These are accompanied by a handwritten note that says that Denis Glover edited the issues. The date range of the collection is c. 1962-1998.
