Scope and Contents

An alphabetical index book with authors listed by their last names. The lists includes the authors' names and the publication they have [in the Athenaeum?] The date range in which the collection was developed is unknown but the last residents left c. 1956.

Scope and Contents

A list of published works held at the Burnett's Face Athenaeum. The list includes the author, the title and a [library index?] number. Also includes a list of "books destroyed'. The book is in fragile condition and pages are loose. The date range of the entries into the register is c. 1915-1957.

Black and white photograph of a man (thought to be University Librarian Harold Miller) reading in a library showing glass-fronted bookcases. The Beetham family established this library in 1884 for the staff of Brancepeth Station, then one of the largest properties in the Wairarapa region. In 1966 it was presented to Victoria University of Wellington Library, where it is kept in the original bookcases.

Scope and Contents

Unlaminated colour poster advertising 'New Zealand Library Week 19-25 June 1995'. Includes a drawing of two eyes and a nose, with the Maori text 'Ma Pukapuka, Ko Matau' forming the eyebrows, and the English text 'Libraries Change Lives' forming the mouth. Printed in black, pink and white and published by the New Zealand Library and Information Association.
