Collier, Rosemary - collection of concert programmes and reviews

The arrangement created by the donor was chronolgical by year of all events she has attended. It was decided by the archivist that an enhanced arrangement based on genre and location of event by year would increase research access.

The programmes and reviews were then rearranged as follows. Programmes were divided into three categories: events occuring in Wellington, events occuring outside Wellington and Victoria University of Wellington events (for any ephemera from any event run by Victoria University of Wellington regardless of location of the event) The series Victoria University of Wellington events has been kept, filed in chronological order. The series of events occurring in Wellington was then divided into two categories of: Music (including: concerts, choral church services, opera), and Theatre (including: plays, ballet, other dance, and other performance arts). These have been filed within these categories in chronolgical order. Two other series arranged by the donor have been retained "Programme Notes and Research Essays" and Music Reviews (both of these series are authored by RC). The reamining two categories of "other events (that is not Music or Theatre) occuring in Wellington" and "events occuring outside Wellington have been discarded.
