Content Description
"These two albums of 'Architecture of the British Isles', one dealing with 'ancient domestic and military' architecture and the other with ecclesiastical architecture photos, were compiled by Dr Sidney Bertram Axford in Falmouth in 1904. Dr Axford came to New Zealand in 1907, settled in Te Aroha and died in Auckland in 1912. The volumes were presented to the School of Architecture by Dr Axford's daughter, Mrs M.
