Historical note
This finding aid documents only those records to do with a History Department project relating to the 1981 Springbok Tour.
The VUW History Department staff directed a group of students in the task of surveying and interviewing members of the groups opposed to the 1981 Springbok Tour, together with public figures such as politicians and church leaders. The project resulted in two publications: These records were restricted until the end of 2001, and information on people who are still alive is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act.
