Biographical information

John Edward Palmer Thomson is an academic and bibliographer. He was on the staff of Victoria University of Wellington from 1970 to 1996, serving as a Senior Lecturer, Chair of Department and, latterly, Reader in English.

He has written a number of books on New Zealand literature and drama, including 'New Zealand Drama 1930-1980: an illustrated history', for which these papers were collected.
