Biographical / Historical
The only papers held in this collection are those to do with Hilary Stace's Radiant Living research.
As a student of WISC 489 in 1998, Stace conducted original research on the Sutcliffe Schools of Radiant Living, seeking information about the School through a variety of channels including a letter published in the 'New Zealand Women's Weekly'.
As a result, she received correspondence, copies of the School's journal 'Radiant Living' and of its pamphlets and teaching resources, and ephemera. Hilary Stace also taped interviews with some members.
One result of Stace's research was her research essay for WISC 489, titled 'Faith and Persistence win through: The School of Radiant Living in New Zealand and its appeal particularly to women' (November 1998), which is included in the collection. Another result was her authorship of an article for the 'nzhistory.net' website.
