Harry Sansum was a public servant and mature student in the late 1920s/early 1930s.
He took over responsibility for the Victoria University College Students' Association (VUCSA) records, introducing an elaborate system based on the type used in Government. He was elected a life member of VUCSA, researched aspects of Victoria history, and ran a newsletter for other life members.
Mr Sansum was also involved with the Imperial Universities Rifle Match Committee and the Victoria University College Defence Rifle Club.
