Quentin-Baxter was Secretary/Research assistant to the New Zealand judge at the Tokyo War Crimes Trial following WWII.
Biographical / Historical
The International Miltary Tribunal for the Far East convened on 5 May 1946 and adjourned on 12 November 1948. Its purpose was to try the leaders of the Japanese Imperial government for war crimes. The New Zealand judge was Erima Harvey Northcroft; his assistant from early 1947 was R.Q. Quentin-Baxter.
