Poster advertising a comedy competition held at the University of Canterbury. Includes a black & white cartoon drawing of a bird on stage speaking into a microphone. In front of the stage a orchestra plays, and various audience members and other characters surround the stage. Also includes the texts: 'Canterbury University, August 21-23 1989, Dame Naigo Marsh Theatre. 21st ~ 6pm United Theatre Sports, 22nd ~ 8pm Competition, 23rd ~ 8pm Encore Night. Sponsored by Student Travel. Door Sales. Very Cheap!!. Also includes the logos of Student Travel Association and Groove Corp. Also includes a small photograph of a bottle of DB Beer and a man drinking a pint of beer, accompanied with the words 'Beer at its Best.'
