Scope and Contents note
Double-sided pamphlet advertising a 1974 tour by Indian musicians and dancers Professor V. V. Shrikhande, Ashok Roy, Bhagwan Pandya and Skakuntala Nair. The front side includes a black & white photgraph of two men playing instruments, and the text: 'NZSAC The New Zealand Students Arts Council in association with Air New Zealand. Professor V.V. Shrikhande, of Indian Cultural Centre - Fiji, with Mr Ashok Roy (Sarod), Mr Bhagwan Pandya (Tabla) and Mrs Skakuntala Nair (classical dance). The sponsorship of the Indian High Commission is greatfully [sic] acknowledged.' Also includes paragraph describing the NZSAC and its achievements. Also includes an advertisement for Air New Zealand which incorporates a black & white photograph of an aeroplane, a description of a DC-10, a map of destinations and the Air New Zealand logo with the words: 'Air New Zealand has a good deal going for you.' The reverse side includes a discription of Indian music and dance, biographies of each of the performers, and a list of date, times and venues of performances (including Marama Hall, Ngaio Marsh Theatre). dc:date: 1974
