Poster advertising a series of Wellington performances of Georges Bizet's play 'The Pearl Fishers'. Includes a drawing of a red flower, a Chinese statue and four Chinese fishing boats. Also includes the texts: 'State Opera House, April 22, 23, 24, 26, 28. All performances at 8.00pm. Book at the State Opera House. Starring Christopher Doig, Paul Neal, Roger Wilson, Jenny Wollermen, Gaye Carrington Smith. The Wellington City Opera Chorus, The Wellington Regional Orchestra. Director: Raymond Boyce (Courtesy of Downstage Theatre). Musical Director: William Southgate. Poster design: Wellington Media Collective'. Also includes the logo of Caltex.
