Scope and Contents note

Poster advertising a wine & cheese evening for first year university students, as part of an orientation festival. Includes a drawing of a cartoon cheese and a cartoon wine bottle shaking hands. Includes the text: 'Dear First Year Student, You are cordially invited to a First Year's Wine and Cheese Evening. A much talked about event in other Orientations, the evening will be an excellent opportunity for you to meet other students and partake of wine and cheese with academics and university staff. The amazing clown duo of Jellybean and Tiffany Tea Bag will begin the evening with a short clown act and then there will be short speeches by the President of the Students' Association, Paul Cochrane and the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Danny Taylor. Admission is $2 or through the magic $10 Orientation card. Included in the admission price is as much wine and cheese as you should wish to consume. See you there. Love from your friendly and run-down Orientation controllers.' Also includes a BNZ logo, and the text: 'Orientation is kindly sponsored by the BNZ.
