Jacoby, Eduard. Remnant collection relating to Toennies research
Scope and Contents note
Most of Jacoby's research papers were transferred in 1997 to the Schleswig-Holsteinische Landesbibliothek in Kiel. This remnant relates to Jacoby's research on Hobbes, and copies of the few letters which seemed relevant to both Toennies and to Jacoby's other interests.
Included are a bound set of notes related to the writings of Hobbes, a reprographic copy of a series of letters (1615-1625) from Fra Fulgentio (Fulgenzio Micanzio) to the Duke of Buckingham, and a bundle of notes and correspondence re Jacoby's Hobbes research.
