Scrapbooks, 1965-2015
Description
This series contains scrapbooks dating from 1965 through to approximately 2015.
There are two sequences: one runs from 1965 to 2015 and deals with clippings about Professor Geering, including his 1967 trial before the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand for doctrinal error and disturbing the peace of the church (commonly known as the heresy trial); the second runs from ca 1971 to 1990 is a set of his newspaper columns - mostly 'Religion Today' as published in the Otago Daily Times from 1971-1990.
