Scope and Contents
Contains a series of correspondence, prayer and stories under the titled of ‘Smith Corre.’ and retrieved from the Underwood collection. The correspondence is indeed addressed to D.V. Smith, from Cpl. M. Evans, LT. Herbert W. Reneker, ‘Bob’ and Howie Anderson. The correspondence is all from a late WWII context. Also includes a page from from ‘Aiborne All the Way” Screaming Eagles 101st Airborne Division’ by M. B. Abbott [see box 32, ‘Airborne (Abbott)’]. The date range of the collection is c. 1944-1988.
