Scope and Contents

Laminated colour poster advertising an 'Art And Organised Labour' exhibition held at the Wellington City Art Gallery from 20 October 1990 to 21 January 1991. Exhibition included 'Banners, Badges, Photographs, Films, Cartoons, Posters, Paintings, Sculpture', and focused on 'Images of working and trade union life in New Zealand'. Poster includes small images of several artworks by artists such as Robin White, D K Turner, Bruce Connew and the Wellington Media Collective on a grey and white background. Smaller text in the bottom right corner includes information about contributors to, and sponsors of, the exhibition such as the Trade Union Education Authority, Union Shipping Group Limited and the New Zealand Stevedoring Company Limited, as well as the address and hours of the exhibition.
