Scope and Contents

Poster advertising 'Girls Work, A book of ideas about jobs for young women.' Includes two coloured cartoon illustrations; one of a grey haired woman lying face down on the floor holding a scrubbing brush, with a rain cloud over her head, and the other of a small red-haired girl holding a case and peering around a door labelled 'BOYS'. The illustrations are signed by Mary Leunig. Also includes the text: 'Department of Employment and Industrial Affairs, Nauru House, 80 Collins Street, Melbourne 3000. Telephone (03) 6586444, Telex AA134957.'

Sticker on rear of poster states 'This poster is on long term loan to TUEA from Therese O'Connell. The poster has been laminated with a grant made available by the Ministry of Women's Affairs.'
