Scope and Contents
A collection of LC’s short stories, published in newspapers. The titles included are: ‘Unlucky for Some’, ‘Up the River’, ‘The Outlander’, ‘Alone’, ‘Treating the Cook Right’, ‘Prisoner’ and ‘The Man from Tewokker’. They are set in either wartime or rural New Zealand. The publication date range is 1952-1959.
