Scope and Contents
A collection handwritten notes, printed articles, newspaper clippings and typed script. Details different facets of the military lifestyle both during conflict and after. Topics include training, morale building techniques, the German experience in WWII, transitioning from soldier to veteran, trauma, discipline, tradition, commemoration and homosexuality. The publication date range is 1964-1991. The subject matter date range is 1914-1991. Note that ‘Little America’ by Paul A. Carter has been attached to the exterior of the folder.
