Scope and Contents
A collection of handwritten notes, typed script, newspaper clippings, printed articles, propaganda prints and negatives, ‘Salient’ articles and correspondence. Covers an array of topics including, gender equality and specifically the liberation of female sexuality, youth culture, drug culture, fashion, race relations in New Zealand, terrorism and Hip-Hop. The typed script at the fore of the collection describes the character of Lisa, the formulation of which may have prompted the different directions of research. The publication date range is 2003-2005. The propaganda material is an anomaly for its subject matter, and that it is sourced from WWI and WWII dates (c.1914-1945).
