Scope and Contents
A collection of manuscripts labelled “Possible for Publication”. Titles include: ‘With the Grace of God’; ‘Vanishing City’; ‘Under the Nose of De Lesseps’; ‘Message for Mary’; ‘Love Story’; ‘Item From the Home Front’; ‘Contraband’; ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Army of Occupation’. The stories are often centred around the complexities of soldiers’ relationships, either abroad or on the home front. The only date specified is 1947, however the subject matter seems to centre on the Italian Campaign of WWII. The date of transcription is unknown.
