Scope and Contents
A collection of correspondence, handwritten notes and addresses, lists of poems and prose, and five copies of an imparting memo. The correspondence is of both a personal and professional nature, with much of the focus being on LC’S use of Charles Smith’s work. The memo CCs John MacGibbon (Proprietor of the Ngaio Press), Mary Cleveland, David Stevenson (solicitor and trustee of LC) and Russell Smith (Son of Charles Smith). Concerns a collection of archival material and who they belong do in the event of LC’s “fatality or disablement”. The date range of the documents is 2002-2003. A list of Charles Smith’s works mentions dates 1941-1986.
