Scope and Contents

A collection of typed script, handwritten notes, printed poetry, sheet music, correspondence and lyrics. The songs and poetry depict colonial and frontier scenes in various countries. They are often centred on certain characters such as ‘Arawhata Bill’. There are no indicated publishing dates however the subject matter appears to be within the 19th and 20th centuries.
