A collection of printed biographical information, photocopied newspaper clippings, handwritten notes and a body of writing named ‘Photography on the Frontier: The Tyree collection’. Details the backgrounds and career information of James, Edward, Fred and William Tyree. The family were avid photographers, collectors of photography and general businessmen. The publication date range is 1858-2010 [considering the original publication of the newspaper clippings]. The subject matter includes dates as far back as 1818.
