A collection of newspaper clippings that profile the characters of Charles Douglas, William O’Leary (“Arawhata Bill”) and Davey Gunn. All three men were notable members of the Southland ‘outback’ community during the late 1800s to early 1900s. The publication date range is 1957-1958. The subject matter date range is 1865-1956.
