Rimutaka Incline
Scope and Contents
Contains three photocopied newspaper clippings, two of which depict the N.Z. Government line train the cross the Rimutaka Range. The third is an article detailing Jack Chew who at the time [1957] proposed a scenic highway for the Rimutaka Range. The only date specified is ‘By Car Over Rimutaka Incline’, N.Z. Truth, October 15, 1957, p 20 and the subject matter seems to correspond to this date too.
