Scope and Contents

A collection of newspaper articles, handwritten notes and pamphlets that concern the new Te Papa building (1998). Also included is some discussion of the women’s exclusion from speaking on the marae, a contested topic in terms of Te Papa as this rule was imposed on the museum’s own marae. The publication date range is 1996-2000. The subject matter includes dates as far back as 1865.
