Women
Scope and Contents
A collection of newspaper clippings, handwritten notes, typed script, printed articles and correspondence. Concerns the role of women in the military as well as those civilian women negatively impacted by war. Topics include the quest to legalise women’s ability to participate in combat, tackling sexual misconduct within the military, validating and memorialising the women who contributed to the military and society in wartime. The publication and subject matter date ranges are c. 1900-2002.
