Scope and Contents

A collection of newspaper clippings, printed articles, handwritten notes and a humorous analysis if the ‘f-word’ collected from John Miles of Wellington. Has a predominantly military focus, particularly Vietnam war slang. Has an analytical slant on the convention of slang formulation. The publication and subject matter date ranges are c. 1969-1990. Publication date range is 1921-1991. Subject matter dates are as far back as 1875.
