Scope and Contents
A collection of handwritten notes, correspondence, newspaper clippings and transcripts. There is a large focus on propaganda its effects, particularly in the newspaper clippings. The correspondence is predominantly with TV One and Radio New Zealand. The former indicates that LC was commissioned by the broadcaster to gather research overseas for an upcoming documentary called ‘New Zealanders at War’. Transcripts from the Radio New Zealand “Convoys to Cairo” is also included, and it appears the handwritten notes are associated with the research for both. The publication date range is c. 1970-1979.
