Scope and Contents
A collection of handwritten notes and newspaper clippings. Most of the articles focus on ensuring that Maori Battalion experiences are given attention when discussing New Zealand’s involvement in WWII. Some attention paid to the Maori attitude towards war in general and references to Tu Matauenga (god of war) are noted. Some demographics included in the handwritten notes. Publication date range is 1945-2008. Subject matter date range is 1910-2008.
