Contains one newspaper clipping of a letter to the editor by A.C. Wright, titled ‘Bomb just in time for grateful Kiwi’. Also includes one printed article of, Pacific War Research Board, ‘The Day Man Lost’, (Tokyo: Kodansha International, 1982), pp 170-171, 176-177. The article chronicles the Japanese surrender and the newspaper clippings gives insight of a New Zealand soldier’s perspective of it at the time. Subject matter date range is January to August, 1945.
