Scope and Contents
A collection of correspondence, reviews, handwritten notes and catalogues. The collection is centred around exchanges between LC and Judith McCulloh of the University of Illinois Press, who appears to have had the initial interest in publishing ‘Dark Laughter’. After providing some editing and review, they eventually pull out of the project and suggest LC tries publisher with more of a folklore and/or military history base. The date range is 1986-1990.
