Scope and Contents

A vast collection of correspondence between LC and a variety of individuals, corporations, organisations, libraries, archives and publishers. The correspondence is primarily to obtain copyright permission, in the cases of Muriel Shepherd (widow of Mick Shepherd) and Peter Ferguson the exchanges are considerably more informal. In other stance LC has used a template letter to be sent out. The material he is requesting permission for includes lyrics, poems, sheet music, illustrations and images. The date range is August 1992 – May 1993.
