Undated report addressed to His Excellency Captain Hobson, Governor of New Zealand, which places it between 3 May 1841 and 10 September 1841. 2. Diary entries dated between 12 February 1840 and 12 March 1840 inclusive 3. Brief biographical note (dated 1934) on FM from T.G.Crump, who - according to the foreword of a book about FM and his wife Sarah by John Rutherford - gave the manuscripts to the NZ government.
