Typescript copy. First 9 pages entitled ' Pedigree of the Davis family of London as reported to Harold Sorenson Esq of Christiania, Norway, by Samuel Browning, of the city of Auckland in the colony of New Zealand, 17th January, 1885. Subsequent 14 pages entitled 'Journal of a trip to the South Sea Islands in the schooner 'Caledonia' belonging to Syney, N.S.Wales.' Samuel Browning was the older brother of George Browning. Harold Sorenson's grandfather (Robert Kirkup Davis) was Samuel and George's uncle.
